White Scars - Part II

Painting level: 3 - Advanced
Manufacturer: Games Workshop
Type: Army
Scale: 28 mm heroic
Material: plastic

Hey,
This is a second part of the White Scars' army, which I painted a few months ago.  I was a little suprise by Land speeder storm. I didn't expected that this model is so time-consuming, but I'm really glad how he looks like ;-)

Comments

  1. Ekstra malowanie Scarsów. Podstawki mało szczegółowe, ale to pewnie widzimisię odbiorcy. Czy rozjaśniałeś szarości, czy też ściemniałeś biel?

Dzięki ! Dokładnie tak, podstawki wg dostarczonego przepisu.

      Biały kolor to:
      1. baza z gw, celestra grey czy jakoś tak
      2. skull white rozjaśnianie
      3. cienie to pierwszy kolor z andrea black set
      4. namoczenie cieni wodą i "rozsmarowywanie" w celu redukcji kontrastu

    1. Hey,
The recipe for the White color:

      Airbrushing:
      1. Base with the Celestra Grey
      2. First layer with the Skull White (White Scar)
      3. First Shade with the lightest grey from Andrea Black Paint set. You can use of course other grey color, but it should be darker than the base. The Layer should be very thin.

      Now, step 4,
Waterdown the Shades -> just take a very wet brush and try to reduce the contrast between shades and rest of the colors. Something like a wet blending.

      Step 5:
Varnishes, and oil washes (for example: http://www.mojehobby.pl/zdjecia/5/4/5/2409_rd.jpg)
